Mizan Institute of Technology (MiT) is a technology institute headquartered in Addis Ababa, founded in 2021 to do one thing well: give Ethiopians practical, world-class digital skills. Through Mizan Academy — home of the country’s first organized Full Stack (MERN) bootcamp — and Mizan Tech Services, we train builders and build alongside them.

Our story
Fostering innovation and excellence since 2021
Mizan Institute of Technology began with a conviction: learning should ignite passion and serve a greater purpose. In 2021 we opened in Addis Ababa as the first organized, complete Full Stack (MERN) bootcamp in Ethiopia — built to take newcomers from zero to working technology professionals.
We grew into two arms with one mission. Mizan Academy runs our bootcamps, technology courses, language programs and tutorials. Mizan Tech Services delivers software, web, design, digital marketing and consulting work for organizations — and keeps our curriculum honest, because the people teaching are the people shipping.
Thirteen registration rounds later, that commitment to excellence, innovation and professionalism has not changed. We stay at the front of emerging technology so our students and clients never have to catch up to it.

Our campus sits on the 7th floor of Apple Plaza in Bethel, Addis Ababa: modern labs, projector classrooms and the recording setup that powers our live + recorded online programs. It is the same floor where Mizan Tech Services projects are built — students learn next to working engineers.
